Though main issue was regarding somehow the calls, it is not taking the audio from call like meet, whatsapp etc. In QuickTime Screen Recording window, click the arrow next to the red Record button, and choose Internal Microphone. Update : I did tried OBS and was able to somehow record the audio though the output was not as expected, highs of both the audio and still not able to record on mute. Genuine solutions are welcomed as I have been long looking for way to record it as effortlessly as done in windows. ![]() I want software (preferably free) which can easily record both the input and output in decent screen quality. I have already tried common solutions on reddit and youtube but till now no software is able to the same. Click the drop-down menu next to Options, and choose an audio source. ![]() Also, it used to record both input and output without any problem and change easily midway when I connected earphones. Start a new screen recording in QuickTime Player. recording the song which can later be even listened originally while laptop output is 0. The best part was how it notifies that it is recording, simple controls and most importantly how it can record original audio even if laptop is on MUTE i.e. 10mb of software effortlessly doing it based on easy option without any issues. I have been doing this effortlessly in windows using ZD Screen Recorder. Before someone points out that it is in Quicktime player or via audio midi etc. ![]()
